Claire Kimball is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in communications and leadership. As the Founder and Managing Director of The Squiz since December 2016, Claire has created a platform designed to keep busy individuals, especially women, informed through a weekday email and podcast. Previously, Claire served as a Special Purpose Board Member on Hearing Australia’s Innovation and Strategy Committee from May 2019 to August 2022, contributing to a vital provider of government-funded hearing services. Claire held several significant roles at Woolworths Limited, including Head of Group Communications and acting Director of Corporate and Public Affairs, overseeing media relations and corporate communications across multiple brands. Additional experience includes serving as Press Secretary for the Office of Tony Abbott and working as a Senior Consultant at FD Third Person. Claire is an alumnus of the Australian National University, holding a BA and Graduate Diploma of Public Policy, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
