Phillip Ortiz serves as the Assistant Provost for Undergraduate and STEM Education at The State University of New York since September 2014 and holds the position of Editor in Chief for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education (BAMBEd) since July 2014, a prestigious journal published by the International Union for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB).
