Jano Cortijo is an experienced museum educator with a robust background in leading guided tours, workshops, and educational programs across various institutions. Currently serving as a Museum Educator at The Studio Museum in Harlem and El Museo del Barrio, Jano designs programs in connection with temporary exhibitions and engages diverse audiences, including school and university students. Previous roles include teaching art classes as a Teaching Artist at Free Arts NYC, leading educational initiatives at the Museum of Arts and Design and the Museum of the Moving Image, and serving as a Visual Arts Curator at Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Lima. Jano holds a Licentiate degree and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego.
