Bryan Dang is an experienced insurance analyst manager currently with The Surplus Line Association of California since April 2017, overseeing data analysis teams and ensuring organizational objectives are met through leadership and quality control. Previously, Bryan held roles as a data analyst, effectively communicating with brokers and analyzing insurance documents. Additional experience includes product testing at New Trent Inc, automotive roles at Kee’s Auto Body and Franks Auto Clinic, and consulting at TranSlate Consulting. Bryan holds an Associate's degree in Surplus Lines Insurance from The Institutes and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
The Surplus Line Association of California
The Surplus Line Association of California serves as the statutory surplus line advisory organization to the California Department of Insurance (CDI) and facilitates the state’s capacity to monitor and direct surplus line brokers’ placements of insurance with eligible surplus line insurers. Working with its members and the CDI, the Association assists its members’ compliance with California laws and regulations; helps maintain a healthy, fair, and competitive surplus line marketplace in California; and strives to protect the interests of California insurance consumers.
