The Surplus Line Association of California
Isabel Archer is a Data Quality Analyst at The Surplus Line Association of California since 2006, with a background in marriage and family therapy as a trainee at YWCA USA from August 2020 to June 2021. Isabel holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, earned between 2017 and 2021, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management from San Jose State University, obtained from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, Isabel completed a Baking Certification at the California Culinary Academy in 2000.
The Surplus Line Association of California
The Surplus Line Association of California serves as the statutory surplus line advisory organization to the California Department of Insurance (CDI) and facilitates the state’s capacity to monitor and direct surplus line brokers’ placements of insurance with eligible surplus line insurers. Working with its members and the CDI, the Association assists its members’ compliance with California laws and regulations; helps maintain a healthy, fair, and competitive surplus line marketplace in California; and strives to protect the interests of California insurance consumers.
