Tran Vo is an experienced data analyst currently working at The Surplus Line Association of California since October 2022, having previously held the position of Associate Data Analyst. Prior to this role, Tran Vo gained experience as a Student Assistant at the College of Graduate Studies at San Jose State University from February 2020 to June 2022 and as a Cashier/Student Assistant at De Anza College from April 2018 to August 2019. Tran Vo holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems from San Jose State University (2019-2022) and two degrees from De Anza College: an Associate of Science for Transfer in Business and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Business and Computer Information Systems, both completed in 2019.
The Surplus Line Association of California
The Surplus Line Association of California serves as the statutory surplus line advisory organization to the California Department of Insurance (CDI) and facilitates the state’s capacity to monitor and direct surplus line brokers’ placements of insurance with eligible surplus line insurers. Working with its members and the CDI, the Association assists its members’ compliance with California laws and regulations; helps maintain a healthy, fair, and competitive surplus line marketplace in California; and strives to protect the interests of California insurance consumers.
