Our Mission - Advancing the competitiveness of America's textile industry through research, development, and commercialization of next-generation materials and processes to work toward extending the life of textile products, safeguarding the textile supply chain, and rebuilding the industry's workforce for future needs.

As a regional catalyst for global innovation, powered by The Industrial Commons, we collaborate with supply chain, market, education, and government leaders including the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), NC State University Wilson College of Textiles, Manufacturing Solutions Center, Textile Technology Center, Western Piedmont Community College, NC IDEA Foundation, North Carolina Department of Commerce, and RTI International.
