Zaid Rahman is the Founder and CEO of Flex, a company focused on enhancing business operations through a finance super app, since June 2020. In addition to this role, Zaid serves as an investor at 305 Ventures, an angel fund that supports various innovative companies including SpaceX and Robinhood, starting from February 2021. Zaid has also been recognized as a Thiel Fellow since 2017, participating in a program that encourages college students to pursue entrepreneurial ventures instead of traditional education. Prior to these roles, Zaid co-founded Volley, where, from September 2014 to August 2018, the mission was to advance AI technologies in understanding knowledge, drawing parallels to systems like ChatGPT.

Freedom is always under siege. Around the world, authoritarian regimes deprive millions of people of basic economic and social rights. Even elected governments can burden their citizens with labyrinthine bureaucracies and complex, unnecessary laws. And while some regimes are obviously worse than others, they all have apologists who obscure these conditions by twisting the relationship between freedom and human fulfillment.
