Jesse Lewis-Evans, a New Zealand native, is a driving force at The Third Floor. With 16 years in the industry, Jesse started as a character animator on New Zealand commercials in the early 2000s, but soon after moved on to start his career as a Previs Artist at Weta Digital, founded by Peter Jackson. While tackling goliaths like The Adventures of Tintin and District 9, Jesse picked up a variety of tools to propel him further into his career.
After a fulfilling six-year career at Weta, Jesse moved to the United States in 2010 and transitioned into feature animation at BlueSky Studios. In late 2016, he moved to LA and reprised his role in VFX previs at The Third Floor. Since then, Jesse has worked on multiple television and film projects, including Captain Marvel and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Currently, he’s one of TTF’s newest supervisors working on a multitude of upcoming projects.
