Michael has a background in Animation with a degree in Interactive Technology, Video Graphics and Special Effects from Ulster University. His career began on the set of HBO’s Game of Thrones’ Season 5 before making the jump to THE THIRD FLOOR in 2017, where he continued to work on all subsequent Game of Thrones seasons.
He is an experienced senior-level artist and a core part of The Third Floor’s Virtual Production team, with a wealth of on-set experience, ranging from on-set techvis to motion capture and motion control. Some of his credits include the above-mentioned Game of Thrones, Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, Dumbo and Beauty and The Beast.
His key strengths include animation, on-set support and both creative and technical problem solving.
