Katie Almeida has extensive experience in government relations and sustainability within the fishing industry. Since November 2014, Katie has served as a Senior Representative at The Town Dock, focusing on fishery regulations and providing insights to management councils. Prior roles at REMSA, Inc., included Associate Program Manager for the Biological Sampling Program and Port Agent/Environmental Tech IV, where Katie supervised teams and collected critical data for stock assessments. Early career experience as a Port Agent/Environmental Tech I at UMass Dartmouth also involved data collection for the National Marine Fisheries Science Center. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
