Ala’amoe (Ala) Kahanu’ola Kuikahi Keolanui was born and raised in Hilo, Hawai’i. She worked at Kamehameha Schools, Hawai’i campus for many years in the Admission office. She loved working with families from the beginning to the end of the Admission process and building relationships along the way. In 2013, Ala’amoe left Kamehameha Schools to work full time with her husband at OK Farms, their family farm. OK Farms stands for Olson Keolanui Farms, and Edmund C. Olson and Troy Keolanui founded it in 2002, transforming the land into a thriving diversified community farm.They farm macadamia nuts, coffee, citrus, tropical fruits, spices, cacao and heart of palm.
