The Trust for Public Land
Cody is a Legislative Aide in the Seattle City Council where he works on policy development in the areas of public safety, homelessness and police accountability. Although he was raised on the East Coast, Cody’s roots are in the Pacific Northwest, and he moved to Seattle in 2016 to be closer to his extended family. He has previous board experience while serving as a trustee for a family foundation focused on promoting environmentally and economically sustainable forests and forest communities. Cody enjoys an urban lifestyle while living in Pioneer Square, but he is an avid hiker and fan of the outdoors. On weekends he can be found exploring Washington’s expansive wilderness in his favorite parks and conservation areas.
