The Trust for Public Land
Mark A. Biggar was raised in Cleveland Heights, OH to a family with a passion for the outdoors. Mark grew up camping, hunting, and fly-fishing at his family cottage in the Adirondack Mountains and at the Conneaut Creek Club, a small outdoor club founded by his father in 1989. Mark’s interest in the outdoors began at a young age. He formed an “Outdoorsmen Group” in high school. He moved to Maine for college, drawn to the big woods of New England. After a career stint in Chicago, Mark returned to his Ohio roots. He took over management of the Conneaut Creek Club in 2018. Currently, Mark lives in the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland with his wife Christina, an OB/GYN physician at Metrohealth Medical Center, their daughter, Grey, and their senior dog, George. He is a Partner at Jones Day with a practice that focuses on real estate where he recently formed an “Outdoor Engagement Committee”
