Paula Hennessy grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Sweet Briar College in Sweet Briar, Virginia.
Upon moving to Atlanta in 1977, Paula worked for Rich’s, Inc. as a buyer in a number of departments spanning a 10-year career.
She was deeply involved in her children’s activities at the Atlanta Speech School, Trinity School and Marist School. While at Marist, she photographed all varsity sports from 2002 – 2005 and allowed the Athletic Department to sell the photos as a fundraiser for the school.
Paula was one of four founding members who established a sporting clays shooting Tournament (Atlanta Charity Clays Tournament) to benefit Atlanta’s children’s charities, raising $50,000 in the first year. Now in its 26th year, the tournament has raised over $4.6 million dollars.
