Richard was the Managing Partner with Santa Fe Venture Partners, a General Partner with the Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm invencor/ International Venture Fund (invencor/IVF), an early stage Venture Capital group with investments in California, Arizona, Utah, Hawaii, and New Mexico. Concurrent with forming Santa Fe Venture Partners in 1998 and becoming a General Partner with IVF, he was actively involved in technology commercialization at the University of New Mexico, Sandia National Laboratory, and Los Alamos National Laboratory. Prior to living in Santa Fe, he was Executive Vice President and member of Managing Committee with Silicon Valley Bank, Santa Clara, CA. Over his 28 year corporate and international banking career, he has held senior positions with First Interstate Bank and American Express International Banking Corp. He currently serves as Managing Partner of Rio Vista Growth Capital, LLC a subordinated debt fund and is Retained Advisor for New Mexico Mezzanine Capital, LLC.
