Solomon Barnett

Solomon is a cisgender male (he/him) of indigenous and European ethnicity who identifies as a person of color. He is the Head of Trading Operations at Optiver and previously spent 15 years at Citadel Securities where he led an equity trading team responsible for over 20% of US equity trading. He currently serves as the chair of the development and governance committee for Urban Initiatives and Co-Chair of the Chicago Advisory Board for the Trust for Public Land. He received his BA from Princeton University where he majored in Economics, minored in Spanish and was a member of the varsity track and field team. (Since 2019).
