Brian McFeeters currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director at the US-ASEAN Business Council, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, McFeeters was the Ambassador at the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur from October 2018 to October 2023, where responsibilities included serving as Chief Operating Officer for the Economic Bureau within the U.S. Department of State. McFeeters has held key diplomatic positions, including Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Baghdad and Jakarta, and Economic Minister Counselor at the U.S. Mission to the European Union. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, a Master's Degree in Physical Chemistry from The University of New Mexico, and a dual degree in Chemistry and English from the University of Notre Dame.

The US-ASEAN Business Council is the premier advocacy organization for U.S. corporations operating within the dynamic Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), serving as the leading voice of the U.S. private sector in promoting mutually beneficial trade and investment relationships between the United States and Southeast Asia.
