Mark Weaver

Mark Weaver is a seasoned academic with extensive expertise in materials science and engineering. Since December 1997, Mark has served as a Professor and Associate Department Head for Undergraduate Studies at The University of Alabama, with a brief period as Interim Department Head. Prior to this role, Mark gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral researcher at both Florida State University and Florida A&M University from May 1995 to November 1997. Mark's academic credentials include a Master of Science and a Doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida, completed between 1989 and 1995, and a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Washington, earned from 1983 to 1988.
