Zach Chism

Zach Chism is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as an Accounting Instructor at The University of Alabama since August 2021, Zach previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Whatley Health Services from November 2019 to September 2021. Prior to that role, a decade was spent at KPMG US, where Zach progressed through various titles, including Associate Director of National Audit Solutions and Senior Manager in Audit. At KPMG, responsibilities included performing integrated and financial statement audits, overseeing audit planning and execution, and advising on internal controls and accounting systems. Zach Chism holds both a BS and MS in Accounting from The University of Alabama and studied at Chiba University in Japan.
