Alan Takaoka

Alan Takaoka has over two decades of experience in application development and web services. Currently serving as the Director of Application Development at the University of Chicago since 2001, Alan has held various positions including Manager and Assistant Manager of Application Development within the institution's NSIT department, as well as Senior Web Application Developer. Prior to this, Alan worked as a Web Application Developer at Newchester Consulting and as a Web Master at Groove Distribution LLC, where responsibilities included building and maintaining a multimedia website and supporting computer maintenance. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, obtained in 2001.
