Geethanath Marri

Geethanath Marri serves as the Executive Director for Technology Modernization and Transformation at the University of Chicago, where responsibilities include leading the Financial Systems Transformation initiative, the largest technology project in the institution's history. This role involves collaboration with executive management teams to establish a strategic vision for cloud-based technology solutions. Prior experience includes serving on the Board of Governors Committee for UChicago Argonne LLC, as Deputy Director for the Cook County Office of ERP overseeing a substantial portfolio of enterprise projects, and consulting for Chicago Public Schools to enhance technology solutions across the district. Geethanath began a career in IT at Bahrain Steel, progressing to manage diverse teams supporting enterprise-wide applications. Geethanath holds a Master of Computer Applications from Osmania University and completed an Advanced Leadership Program at the University of Chicago.
