Rachael Ward

Rachael Ward has extensive experience in higher education administration at the University of Chicago since July 2009, where roles have included Deputy Director of Finance and Administration and Deputy Director of Career Advancement. Rachael has led multiple teams in student services, overseeing budgets, student advising, data operations, and customer service. Initiatives have included transitioning student employment to Career Advancement, enhancing orientation programs, and expanding career-related experiential education opportunities, resulting in significant student engagement improvements. Prior to the University of Chicago, Rachael served as an Elisabeth Luce Moore Fellow at Ginling College and as an Assistant Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. Rachael holds a Master of Arts from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wellesley College.
