Valerie Archambeau

Valerie Archambeau is a seasoned professional in communication technology services, currently serving as the Director of Communication Technology Services – Infrastructure and Operations at The University of Chicago since October 2000. With oversight of a 20+ member team, Valerie delivers telecommunications and video conferencing services across a prestigious research university and a nationally ranked academic medical center. Previous roles include Director of College Information Technology, where strategic direction was provided for technology services supporting over 6,000 students, and Manager of College Information Technology, focusing on system administration and web consulting. Prior experience includes managing web services at Lake Forest College and serving as Education Coordinator and Technology Support Specialist at The University of Chicago. Valerie holds a BA in English with a concentration in Writing from La Salle University and an MA in English and American Literature from the University of Notre Dame.
