Dr. Thu Janes, DNP, MS, RN, NE-BC, currently serves as the Director of Nursing for Ambulatory Women's Health and Pediatrics at The University of Kansas Health System since June 2020. In addition to this role, Dr. Janes has been a Nursing Administrator for Nursing Practice at The University of Kansas Cancer Center since November 2011 and has contributed as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Kansas School of Nursing since 2014. Dr. Janes has an extensive background in nursing management, having held the position of Nurse Manager in various specialties at the University of Kansas Hospital from May 1990 to November 2011. Dr. Janes holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a focus on Organizational Leadership from the University of Kansas School of Nursing.
