Dr. Cindy E. Locklear

Dr. Cindy E. Locklear, DSW, LCSW, serves as an Associate Professor and MSW Program Director at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke since November 2010, having previously held roles as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor. Dr. Locklear's clinical experience includes working as a Clinical Social Worker from July 2006 to August 2012, where comprehensive clinical assessments and client-centered therapy were provided across diverse populations. Additionally, Dr. Locklear was the Executive Director of Southeastern Family Violence Center from May 2007 to October 2010. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Social Work from the University of St. Thomas, an MSW from Fayetteville State University, and a BSW from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
