Glenn King

Nhmrc Principal Research Fellow at The University of Queensland

Glenn King has a diverse and accomplished work experience spanning multiple companies and prestigious academic institutions. Glenn co-founded Infensa Bioscience in 2022 and currently holds the position of Chief Scientific Officer. Prior to this, they served as a Professorial Research Fellow and NHMRC Principal Research Fellow at The University of Queensland from 2007 onwards. From 2017 to 2022, Glenn was the Editor in Chief at Elsevier for the Toxicon publication. Glenn was also the sole founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Vestaron Corporation from 2005 to 2006. At the University of Connecticut, they held the position of Professor of Biochemistry & Microbiology from 1999 to 2006. Last but not least, Glenn served as an Associate Professor at the University of Sydney from 1989 to 1998.

Glenn King holds a BSc (Hons) and PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Sydney. Glenn also completed a NHMRC CJ Martin Postdoctoral Fellowship in NMR structural biology at the University of Oxford from 1986 to 1988.
