Justin Cooper-White

Justin Cooper-White is an accomplished academic and research leader currently serving as the Research Director at Herston Biofabrication Institute since January 2021. With a robust career at The University of Queensland, Justin holds multiple titles including Head of School, Affiliate Professor, Professor of Bioengineering, and Interim Executive Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and IT. Justin also directs the Queensland Node of the Australian National Fabrication Facility Limited and serves as Editor-In-Chief for APL Bioengineering Journal at AIP Publishing. Previous roles include Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder of Scaled Biolabs Inc., and Professor at Monash University's Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute. Justin's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Biomedical Polymer Physics and Thermodynamics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from The University of Queensland.
