Kirsty Smith

Kirsty Smith is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in mental health, change management, and education. Currently serving as the Founder and President of UQ Psych MD at The University of Queensland, Kirsty is actively fostering the development of future mental health care professionals. As a medical student and tutor for Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia, alongside a research position at the UQ Queensland Brain Institute, Kirsty is engaged in significant research on insulin signaling and dopamine cell development. With extensive experience in change management across various organizations, including Bank of Queensland and RACQ, Kirsty has spearheaded numerous initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee well-being. Kirsty holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Queensland and a Masters in Marketing from RMIT University, and has obtained certifications in change management and education.
