Linda McConnell

Linda McConnell is the Head of Recruitment at the Financial Markets Academy (FINMA) since November 2024, overseeing programs that prepare students for careers in finance. Concurrently, Linda holds the position of Partnerships Manager at The University of Queensland's School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, where responsibilities include developing industry relationships and managing student placements in innovative degree programs. Previously, Linda served as an Employability Specialist focused on Finance and Economics, along with experience in various roles at UniQuest, the Hong Kong Association of Graduate Recruiters, Nomura International, Credit Suisse, and Barclays Capital. Linda's strong background in recruitment and employability initiatives is complemented by educational qualifications, including an Advanced Master’s in Tourism, Hotel, and Events Management from The University of Queensland and a BA Hons in Japanese with German from Liverpool John Moores University.
