Dr Nicola Buckland

Dr. Nicola Buckland is a Senior Lecturer and Project Leader at The University of Sheffield, where since August 2017, Dr. Buckland has led multiple projects focusing on behaviour change related to health and environmental issues. Notably, Dr. Buckland serves as the Behavioural Science Lead on a collaborative project to promote composting among local communities. Previously, Dr. Buckland was a Senior Researcher at the University of Leeds, overseeing research teams on health and dietary topics, and has extensive experience in designing various study methodologies. Dr. Buckland co-founded the Kelham Island Book Club to foster community engagement through reading. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Psychology from the University of Leeds and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching for Learning in Higher Education from The University of Sheffield.
