Jonna Nyman is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in International Relations at The University of Sheffield, where Jonna has been involved since September 2016, initially serving as a Lecturer in International Politics and as a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow. Prior to this role, Jonna worked at the University of Leicester from October 2013 to August 2016 as a Teaching Fellow in International Relations, convening modules on various topics such as Contemporary US Foreign Policy and the Politics of Nuclear Weapons. Jonna's academic journey includes completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Relations at the University of Birmingham, where the research focused on energy security perceptions in China and the USA. Jonna also holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, both obtained from the University of Birmingham.
