Sue Hartley is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of ecology, currently serving as Vice-President for Research and Innovation at The University of Sheffield since January 2020. Prior to this role, Sue held the position of Director of the York Environmental Sustainability Institute and Professor of Ecology at the University of York from November 2010 to December 2019. Sue also served as a Professor of Ecology at the University of Sussex from January 2001 to October 2010. Sue Hartley completed a BA in Biochemistry at the University of Oxford between 1980 and 1984.
