Michael Royster

Michael Royster has extensive experience in athletic management, currently serving as the Assistant Athletic Director of Facilities and Equipment at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga since May 1974. In this role, responsibilities include the planning, coordination, maintenance, safety, and compliance of all equipment for the Athletics Department, aligning with various regulations. Michael also oversees the planning and implementation of game day and event activities, focusing on safety, risk management, budgeting, and personnel direction. Prior to this position, Michael worked as a Trainer and Equipment Manager at St. Andrews School and held a warehouse position at Tom Baldridge Sportsman Stores. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
