Brooke Whitfield

Brooke Whitfield is a Graduate Research Assistant on the Texas Policy Evaluation Project at The University of Texas at Austin since August 2020. Previously, Brooke held various roles including Research Analyst, Senior Research Assistant, and Research Assistant at Child Trends from June 2017 to July 2022. At the Duke Global Health Institute, Brooke served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and conducted research as an Undergraduate Student Researcher, contributing to assessments of community health needs and gathering data on disease burden. Additional experience includes a Policy Intern position at MetaMetrics, Inc., where Brooke researched education policies, and an internship at the Kenan Institute for Ethics, focused on clinical trials and ethical standards. Brooke earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Global Health from Duke University in 2017 and attended the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics from 2011 to 2013.
