Katie Powell Nikah

Katie Powell Nikah is an experienced public health professional with a strong background in project coordination and health program implementation. Holding a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences, Katie has served as a Senior Project Coordinator at The University of Texas at Austin since April 2014, managing multiple nutrition and healthy lifestyle projects. Prior experience includes research and program development at The University of Texas Health Science Center and facilitation of educational dialogues on dating violence as part of Voices Against Violence. Additional roles include public health consulting, capacity building in St. Kitts for the Ministry of Health, and experience with the Peace Corps focused on HIV/AIDS education. Other significant contributions have been made at Management Sciences for Health, as well as in early childhood education and public affairs.
