Gopal Gupta

Gopal Gupta is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas, where Gopal has been a faculty member since August 2000 and served as Department Head from 2009 to 2020. Currently, Gopal co-directs the Center for Applied AI and Machine Learning, focusing on industry applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Previously, Gopal co-founded Interoperate Inc., where Gopal held the position of CTO from October 2008 to December 2017, providing innovative migration solutions. Gopal holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.Tech. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
