Karen Rabon has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Senior Associate General Counsel to the Board of Regents at The University of Texas System since February 2008. In addition to this role, Karen has held positions as Associate General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel to the Board of Regents. Since December 2015, Karen has also been the Secretary to the Board for the Board for Lease of University Lands. Prior to these roles, Karen worked at the Texas Attorney General's Office from January 2001 to January 2008, where responsibilities included Assistant Attorney General for the Open Records Division and Public Information Coordinator. Karen holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame.
