Lauren Bellomy is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in high-level legal counsel. Currently serving as Senior Associate General Counsel to the Board of Regents at The University of Texas System since February 2018, Lauren previously held the position of Associate General Counsel to the same Board. Prior to this role, Lauren contributed as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Austin and as Assistant General Counsel for the Texas Ethics Commission. Early in the career, Lauren worked as a Legal Editor at O'Connor's. Lauren earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007 and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from the same institution in 2004.
