Melissa Garcia has a legal background and currently holds the position of Associate Vice Chancellor of Health Affairs at The University of Texas System. Prior to this role, Melissa worked as an Assistant Vice Chancellor in the same office. Melissa has extensive experience advising UT System and health institutional leadership on strategic, operational, legal, and regulatory matters to advance organizational missions and systemwide priorities. Melissa previously worked as an attorney at various organizations before transitioning into their current role in higher education administration.
