Sean Griffin currently serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Governmental Relations and Health Affairs at The University of Texas System, a role held since December 2018. Prior to this position, Sean Griffin was the Founding Principal at SG Governmental Relations, LLC, from December 2017 to December 2018, and held various roles in the Texas Senate, including Chief of Staff and Assistant Chief of Staff for Senator Judith Zaffirini, from December 2008 to September 2017. Earlier experience includes a position as a Student Worker at The Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law. Educational qualifications include a JD/MPAff degree in Law and Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Austin and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and Psychology from Texas A&M University.
