The VOID
Adrian Steckel has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Adrian is currently the CEO of The VOID, starting in September 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member for InfoBionic, Inc. from August 2018 onwards, and a Board Member for Uphold Inc. from May 2015 onwards. Adrian also served as the Chairman of Uphold from July 2016 until December 2021.
From September 2018 to November 2020, Steckel was the Chief Executive Officer of OneWeb. Adrian also served as a Board Member for The VOID from May 2018 to June 2020. Before these roles, they held the position of CEO at Grupo Salinas Telecom from January 2015 to September 2018.
Steckel's career at Grupo Salinas began in 1994, where they served as an Executive Board Member until September 2018. Adrian also served as a Board Member at Iusacell from September 2006 to January 2015.
Prior to their time at Grupo Salinas, Steckel held the position of CEO at Azteca America from November 2005 to December 2010.
Adrian Steckel began their education at Deerfield Academy, where they studied from 1982 to 1985. Adrian then went on to attend Yale University, graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.

THE VOID builds and operates virtual entertainment centers that primarily focus on exploring immersive virtual worlds and dimensions with friends and family, and creating memorable experiences together. It specializes in creating ‘hyper-reality’ experiences that layer virtual reality over interactive real-world environments. THE VOID servesindividuals in the age group of ten and more of all genders and backgrounds eager to journey to new worlds and create new memories together. Curtis Hickman, James Jensen, and Ken Bretschneider founded it in 2015, with its headquarters in Lindon in Utah with additional offices in locations in Anaheim in California, Orlando in Florida, New York City, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, and Toronto in Canada.
