Josef Schneider is a Quantitative Trader at The Voleon Group since July 2023, having previously served as a Trading Intern at the same company earlier in 2023. Schneider's experience includes an internship as a Software Engineer in the Aladdin Product Group at BlackRock, as well as a Data Analyst Intern role at Pacific Life. In addition, Schneider worked at Micronix USA as both a Software Engineer, developing a multi-functional Graphical User Interface, and a Test Engineer, where responsibilities included testing circuit boards and improving testing protocols. Other experience includes counseling diabetic children at Camp Conrad Chinnock. Josef Schneider completed a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Data Science and a Minor in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, following high school education at Newport Harbor High School.
