Kevin A. Lai is a researcher at The Voleon Group, contributing since July 2020. Prior experience includes a software engineer internship at Google in summer 2018, working on a research project alongside Satyen Kale, Sashank Reddi, Ruiqi Guo, and Sanjiv Kumar. Kevin also served as a teaching assistant at Princeton University for various computer science courses from September 2013 to May 2015. Earlier, Kevin interned as a software development engineer in test at Microsoft in summer 2012. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Computer Science from Yale University (2009-2013), a Master of Science in Computer Science from Princeton University (2013-2015), and a Ph.D. in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization from Georgia Institute of Technology (2015-2020).
