Laura J. Fong is a video journalist currently producing news videos and current events analysis for The Wall Street Journal since September 2023. Prior to this role, Fong worked as a producer for The WNET Group, where four documentaries in the Treasures of New York and Treasures of New Jersey series were produced, including an Emmy Award-winning episode. Fong also served as a science editor at GBH, managing editorial processes for digital videos on climate change, and produced over 75 news videos for PBS NewsHour on diverse topics spanning politics and social issues. Fong's early career includes experience as an associate producer at Lovett Stories & Strategies, a post-production associate producer at Warrior Poets for CNN's "Morgan Spurlock Inside Man," and teaching first grade through Teach For America. Fong holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a focus on Electronic Media from the University of Oregon.
