Michael Tabb

Michael Tabb is a Senior Video Journalist at The Wall Street Journal since February 2023, focusing on original video series to enhance the publication's YouTube presence. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Video and Motion Graphics Producer at FiveThirtyEight, leading video projects that highlighted data-oriented coverage. Michael also held the position of Senior Video Journalist at Quartz, where responsibilities included producing science video series and managing augmented reality projects. Earlier experience includes roles at The Wall Street Journal as a freelance Assistant Video Journalist, and at Popular Science as an Animator/Video Editor. Michael's career began with freelance reporting at The York Dispatch and editing roles at Student Life newspaper. Interning at CNN and The STUDIO NYC provided foundational experience in news reporting and motion graphics. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis.
