Amie Hsia

Amie Hsia is a distinguished medical professional with extensive experience in neurology and stroke care. Currently serving as the Medical Director of the Stroke Center at MedStar Washington Hospital Center since October 2004, Amie Hsia also holds the position of Associate Medical Director at the same institution. In addition to these roles, Amie Hsia has been a Program Manager for the NIH Stroke Program since July 2004 and has contributed as a contractor and staff clinician in the same program. Amie Hsia is also an Associate Professor of Neurology at Georgetown University Medical Center since September 2006, having previously served as an Assistant Professor. Earlier in the career, Amie Hsia completed a Stroke Fellowship and residency at Stanford University Medical Center from July 1999 to July 2004. Amie Hsia obtained an MD from Duke University School of Medicine and a BA in Biology from Harvard University.
