Jordan Tovin is a dedicated photojournalist and photographer currently serving as a Staff Photographer at The George Washington University since October 2022, capturing a diverse range of assignments including sports and campus life. In addition to this role, Jordan holds the position of Director of Professional Outreach for the GWU National Press Photographers Association chapter, focusing on managing professional outreach and event planning. Contributions as a Contributing Photojournalist for The Washington Post and experience as Photo Editor for The GW Hatchet highlight Jordan’s editorial skills in cultural coverage. Previous roles include a Photojournalist for CBS News, Alexandria Times, and the political coverage for The Georgetowner, complemented by in-house concert photography at I.M.P. and experience leading creative activities at summer camps. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photojournalism at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University, Jordan combines practical experience with academic training in the field.
