Lauren Morello is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in science, health, and politics reporting. Currently serving as the Deputy Editor for the General Assignment Desk at The Washington Post since July 2024, Morello previously held the position of Deputy Politics Editor at The Messenger, overseeing coverage of the 2024 presidential race.
