Quari Alleyne

Quari Alleyne is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in video production and journalism. Currently serving as a Senior Video Producer at The Washington Post since February 2022, Quari also hosts and creates content for The Up and Coming Podcast, conducting in-depth interviews and managing all aspects of the show's production and marketing. Prior experience includes roles as a Multimedia Journalist at News 12 Westchester and a Reporting Intern at Gothamist.com. Quari holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Stony Brook University, where as Culture Editor for The Stony Brook Press, leadership and editorial skills were honed while managing a team and producing diverse content. Additionally, experience as a Videographer at The New York Beacon included creating articles and videos addressing social issues and cultural topics.
